We are thrilled that you’ve chosen Cwac Cwac’s to start your swimming journey, and we look forward to welcoming you to our home in Caerphilly! Below is all the information you’ll need to get started and make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.




Finding Us

  • Location: Unit 1-4 Trecenydd Industrial Estate, Caerphilly, CF83 2TE.
  • Directions: Drive to the very end of the industrial estate past the post office. You’ll find us in the dead-end car park. Our entrance is the last door on your left as you enter the car park.
  • Access: Head up the ramp and through the door where our entrance is directly in front of you.

Arriving for Your Class

  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class to allow us time to clean and prepare the changing rooms after the previous session.
  • Once changed, please wait in the seating area outside the changing rooms until your class is ready to begin.
  • After your class, we kindly ask you to change as promptly as possible to make space for the next group.

Changing Rooms

  • Our changing area is cozy, with separate spaces for males and females. However, please note there are no private cubicles, and the showers are open.
  • Female changing rooms: Two open showers available.
  • Male changing rooms: One open shower available.
  • Please use the tubs provided for your belongings and store them neatly under the benches. This keeps the benches free for the next group.
  • Pushchairs are not permitted in the changing or pool areas for hygiene reasons, but there is designated space in the corridor for storage.

Pool Information

  • Our pool is a warm and welcoming 32°C, and the air temperature is maintained at 31°C—perfect for little swimmers!
  • The pool is 6m x 4.2m with beautiful wooden surroundings, offering a comfortable and intimate environment.
  • Since the pool is above ground, we will ask you to pass your little one over the side while you climb in. While this might feel a bit unusual at first, it’s the safest way to enter and exit the pool.
  • We recommend bringing a towel poolside for when you exit the water, as it may feel cooler after leaving the warm pool room.

Swimming Attire and Hygiene

  • Children not potty trained: Must wear a happy nappy system or a swim nappy with a neoprene nappy on top to prevent accidents in the pool.
  • Nappy bins: Provided in the changing rooms. Please use the yellow-bagged bins for nappies only and the black-bagged bins for general waste.

Parent and Guest Information

  • Parent participation: Each child requires an adult in the pool during the session.
  • Observers: There is poolside space for one additional guest if you’d like to share the experience with someone else.

Classes and Catch-Up Policy

  • We offer small group sizes to ensure a personalized experience for each swimmer.
  • If you miss a class, we always try to help you arrange a catch-up session within the same term, subject to availability. However, we cannot move missed classes to future terms.

  • Payment can be made via bank transfer to the following details:

Welcome to Cwac Cwacs! We’re delighted to have you join us. To ensure every family has the best and safest experience, please read through our full Terms & Conditions before attending your sessions:




1. Class Bookings & Payments

  • All classes must be paid for in advance to secure your child’s space.
  • Payment deadlines are communicated clearly and must be met to avoid your space being offered to those on the waiting list.
  • If you require more time to make payment or wish to change class, you must contact us by the date stated in our payment reminders.
  • If you no longer require your place, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer it to another family.

2. Trial Lessons & Competitions

  • New families can access one trial lesson before committing to a term.
  • We regularly run competitions including free term giveaways and annual swimming passes – keep an eye on our socials for details!

3. Class Changes & Progression

  • We may move your child to a more age- or ability-appropriate class if we feel they would benefit from a new challenge or a better fit with peers.
  • You will be notified of any changes ahead of the new term.

4. Attendance & Missed Classes

  • Refunds or credits are not provided for missed classes unless due to a cancellation made by Cwac Cwacs.
  • Make-up lessons are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

5. Pool Rules & Safety

  • All children must be accompanied in the water by a parent or carer.
  • Appropriate swimwear must be worn. Babies and toddlers must wear double-layer swim nappies.
  • Please arrive poolside no more than 10 minutes before class and exit promptly to ensure smooth changeovers.

6. Health, Hygiene & Illness

  • Please do not bring your child to class if they are unwell or showing any signs of illness.
  • Children must not eat within 30 minutes prior to their swim session.
  • We have recently experienced several pool closures due to vomiting in the water caused by children eating just before swimming.
  • Effective immediately, we do not offer refunds for pool closures caused by sickness. Each incident incurs hundreds of pounds in cleaning costs, pool treatment and lost sessions. We appreciate your help in avoiding this wherever possible.

7. Communication & Admin

  • If you make a payment and do not receive a receipt, please contact us so we can ensure your payment is logged.
  • While we aim to reply as quickly as possible, we are a small team. We appreciate your patience during busy periods.
  • We have recently brought in additional admin support while Sandy is away to help ensure all records and communications are up to date.

8. Media Consent

  • Occasionally, photos or videos may be taken during classes for promotional use. Please let us know if you prefer not to have your child included.

9. Facility Use

  • Free on-site parking is available.
  • All customers are asked to respect the changing areas, showers, and facilities.
  • Please supervise children at all times when not in the pool.

10. Policies

  • We reserve the right to make changes to class schedules, teachers, or policies as needed.
  • In the event of pool maintenance or emergency closure, affected families will be notified as soon as possible.
