Welcome to Cwac Cwac’s!

We’re delighted to have you swimming with us and want to make sure your experience is safe, enjoyable, and stress-free.

Please take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions carefully — they’re here to help everything run smoothly for you and all our swimmers.

1. General Information

  • All lessons take place at Cwac Cwac’s HQ, Unit 1–4 Trecenydd Industrial Estate, Caerphilly, CF83 2TE.
  • Each lesson includes one parent or carer in the water with their child.
  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class and vacate the changing area promptly after your lesson so we can clean and prepare for the next group.
  • Please keep noise to a minimum in the waiting area and supervise children at all times.

2. Payment and Bookings

  • Lesson fees must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • Spaces are confirmed only once payment has been received.
  • We cannot hold spaces without payment.
  • Lessons are non-refundable but may be transferred if your child is moving class or progressing.

3. Missed Lessons and Catch-Ups

  • If you are unable to attend a lesson, please let us know as soon as possible.
  • Catch-up sessions may be offered only where space allows in another class.
  • Catch-ups cannot be guaranteed and are not transferable between terms.

4. Pool Safety and Hygiene

  • No outdoor shoes are allowed poolside.
  • Please remove jewellery and tie back long hair before entering the pool.
  • Children must wear approved swim nappies (double layer if under 3 years old or not fully toilet trained).
  • Please take all nappies and waste home with you.

⚠️ 5. Sickness Policy (Please Read Carefully)

Your child’s health — and the safety of every swimmer — is our top priority.

If Your Child Is Unwell

If your child shows any symptoms of being unwell, please do not attend your swimming lesson.

This includes sickness, diarrhoea, fever, persistent coughs, or any contagious illness.

Swimming while unwell can spread infection and lead to pool contamination, resulting in costly closures and cancelled lessons that affect many other families.

Feeding Before Swimming

Please ensure your child has not eaten within one hour before swimming.

Feeding too close to a lesson significantly increases the risk of sickness in the pool.

If Sickness Occurs in the Pool

If a child vomits or has an accident in the pool, we are legally required to close for cleaning and water treatment.

This can take many hours and leads to cancelled sessions for all swimmers.

  • If the pool is closed due to sickness, refunds or replacement lessons cannot be offered.
  • However, we will do our best to offer a catch-up lesson in another class, subject to space.

Please Remember

✅ Do not attend if your child is unwell.

⏰ Avoid feeding your child within 1 hour before swimming.

💧 If sickness occurs and the pool must close, no refunds will be issued, but a catch-up may be offered where space allows.

By following these simple rules, you help us keep the pool open, clean, and safe for everyone. We really appreciate your support and understanding.


6. Cancellations by Cwac Cwac’s

  • In the unlikely event that Cwac Cwac’s must cancel a session (e.g. due to maintenance, staffing, or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered a replacement lesson.
  • Refunds will only be issued if a replacement cannot be offered.

7. Behaviour and Respect

  • We expect all families to treat our staff and each other with kindness and respect.
  • Anyone behaving inappropriately may be asked to leave the premises and may forfeit their place.

8. Photography and Social Media

  • Photos are not permitted during lessons without prior permission.
  • We occasionally take professional photos for social media — consent will always be requested first.

9. Liability

  • Cwac Cwac’s accepts no responsibility for personal belongings or valuables.
  • Parents/carers are responsible for their child’s safety before and after lessons.
